West Hollywood Media Company, the leading publisher in Southern California’s Creative City, is looking for an Integrated Media Sales Manager. WHMC’s WEHOville.com, launched in September 2012, already is the most highly trafficked website covering one of Southern California’s most exciting and busy communities. WHMC is planning the launch of other complementary products. The Integrated Media Sales Manager will be responsible for interactive and print advertising and sponsorship revenue.
Specific Duties and Areas of Focus:
- Develop advertising and sponsorship revenue for WEHOville’s print and online editions.
- Develop presentations and sponsorship concepts by working with management and WEHOville’s marketing director to meet clients’ needs as well as revenue goals.
- Manage the sales process from beginning to end—prospecting, proposal and presentation, closing, campaign implementation and post-campaign analysis.
- Be a face of WHMC and WEHOville, representing us at Chamber of Commerce events, gay community events and other civic gatherings.
- Other key duties as assigned
Qualifications/Key Requirements:
- 2+ years in ad sales or digital advertising agency experience
- Must be a problem solver and creative thinker able to develop sales solutions based on customers’ needs
- Must be proficient in developing client proposals/presentations
- Must have excellent communication skills in all environments—email, phone and face-to-face.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
