Let’s begin to look at the actual business of Weho’s entertainment district. Business is generally dead during the dinner hours every night on Santa Moncia Blvd. in Weho (7-9pm). Take a walk and see empty restaurants and encroached sidewalks nearly every night, if they are even open. Then we look at a brand new fancy nightclub with its hours showing that they not even open on weekends until 9:30pm (getting busy by 10:30pm) and not even open on Tuesday and Thursday. Someone should investigate why, all of a sudden, the Sheriff now uses the helicopter for Fun, Recreation, and side-income. Weho must spend millions for this new extraordinary newfound pleasure. What used to be used only for policing efforts has now become a perk of employment; free and frequent access to helicopter enjoyment.
