Nine Thefts from Vehicles in West Hollywood Between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1

There are nine reports of thefts from vehicles and two of thefts by three women from local stores in a recently released list of Part 1 (serious) crimes reported to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station from Nov. 25 to Dec. 1.

Nov. 25

Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon. 8900 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 11:35 and 11:42 p.m. A man threw a cell phone at the victim’s head during an argument on the patio of the club. #07798

Strong Arm Robbery. Curson Avenue / Santa Monica Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. A woman was walking north on the sidewalk of Curson Avenue when a car pulled up next to her. The suspect exited the vehicle, shoved the woman to the ground and pulled her cell phone from her hand. #07780

Vehicle Burglary. Robertson Boulevard / El Tovar Place between 9:06 and 10:05 p.m.  An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed three backpacks containing a laptop computer, two iPads, prescription glasses, jewelry box, camera, headphones, and a leather wallet with credit cards from the backseat. #07792

Vehicle Burglary. 9000 block Melrose Avenue between 8:30 and 11 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a shopping bag containing a seat cushion from the back seat. #07797

Nov. 26

Grand Theft. 600 block La Peer Avenue at 1:40 p.m. An unknown suspect removed a camera bag containing a wallet and two lenses that were left momentarily unattended in the alley while the victim was working. #07806

Other Burglary. 500 block North Robertson Boulevard at 3:27 a.m. An unknown suspect used force on the employee entrance door to gain entry and removed a bottle of liquor from the dining room. #07809

Other Burglary. 8500 block Santa Monica Boulevard between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 a.m.  An unknown suspect forced a patio door open to gain access and removed six iPads and $420 in cash. #07821

Other Burglary. 7600 block Lexington Avenue between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2. An unknown suspect gained access to the apartment complex laundry room and forced open a storage locker and removed five pairs of shoes. #07910

Armed Robbery. 7700 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 10:18 p.m.  Four men entered the store and approached the front counter. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at an employee and ordered him to open the cash register and he complied. #07765

Nov. 27

Residential Burglary. 1000 block North Vista Street between 11:30 and 11:54 p.m. An unknown suspect pried the front lobby door open to gain access to the lobby of the apartment building. The suspect also pried the conference room door open but did not take anything. #07860

Strong Arm Robbery. 1000 block Sierra Bonita Avenue at 4:45 p.m. A man attempted to pull the victim’s cell phone from her hand during a domestic argument but she was able to retain possession of her phone. #07827

Vehicle Burglary. 600 block Almont Drive between 4:15 and 6 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed two pairs of sunglasses, a leather bag containing a wallet, and a laptop computer from the back seat. #07830

Nov. 28

Vehicle Burglary. 8500 block Sunset Boulevard between 12:25 and 12:50 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer and AirPods from the backseat. #07832

Vehicle Burglary. 8400 block Clinton Avenue between 2:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. the next day. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing an iPad, cell phone, and sunglasses from the front seat. #07845

Nov. 29

Other Burglary. 8500 block Melrose Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Three women removed 37 pairs of pants and left the store without payment. #07852

Strong Arm Robbery. 7100 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 8:40 p.m. Three women removed perfume from a display area and attempted to leave the store. When confronted by store security, a short struggle ensued and the security guard was pushed to the ground. #07851

Nov. 30

Strong Arm Robbery. 8900 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 2:10 a.m. A man tried to break up a fight and was pulled into the fight and knocked to the ground. The man was punched and kicked several times by the suspects and his jacket and cell phone were taken. #07856

Vehicle Burglary. Rosewood Avenue / La Cienega Boulevard between 12:10 and 12:25 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a briefcase containing a laptop computer, cell phone, and AirPods from the front floorboard. #07861

Vehicle Burglary. 1200 block La Brea Avenue at 2:40 p.m. A man smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a purse containing sunglasses from the front seat. #07865

Dec. 1

Grand Theft. 1000 block Crescent Heights between 6:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. the next day. An unknown suspect removed makeup from the interior and two laptop computers from the trunk of the unlocked vehicle. #07900

Vehicle Burglary. Laurel Avenue / Santa Monica Boulevard between 11 and 11:30 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a purse from the back seat. #07892
