Nov. 15, 16, 17: The International ‘Colibri’ Competition for Young Performers

The International Arts Competition for Young Performers is known as “Colibri”  — the Russian word for “hummingbird.” It features participants between the ages of 4 and 16 who compete in various genres, including instrumental, vocal, and dance. The main goal of the event is to develop creative potential of young performers, promote their talent and creativity, and offer an opportunity to enhance their competitive skills in a fun and exciting environment. 

The events will take place at Plummer Park’s Fiesta Hall, 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., on Friday at 5 p.m., Saturday at 10 a.m., and Sunday at 11 a.m., which is the awards ceremony. Friday and Saturday events will be followed by Sunday’s Gala Concert and Awards Ceremony. Admission is free.
