City Council Candidate Forum Set for Wednesday at Plummer Park

The next (and likely last) forum for candidates running in the March 5 election for West Hollywood City Council will take place on Wednesday (Feb. 20).

The East Side Candidates Forum will take park at the Plummer Park Community Center in Rooms 5 and 6 from 7 to 9 p.m.  The center is located at 7377 Santa Monica Blvd. and there is free parking in the lot in front of it and the lot on the Fountain Avenue side of the park.

The forum is being put on by the South of Fountain Neighborhood Watch group and will be moderated by Henry (Hank) Scott, the editor and publisher of WEHOville.com.

To date all 11 candidates in the race – three incumbents and 8 challengers – have committed to attend the forum.

Any questions can be sent to its organizers at sofneighbors@gmail.com.

      1. Just wanted to let you know that I just called the City Hall and spoke with the city Council receptionist as well, both of them said that this event is not on the calendar and had no knowledge of it. You might want to check on that if this is still going on. It’s something that the public should know about, I had planned to come.

        1. It definitely is occurring. It’s scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at rooms 5 and 6 of the Community Center at Plummer Park on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Please arrive early as seating will be limited.
