With “The Drag Roast of Heklina” Evan Zampella and Kyle Burt, the creators of this roast series, honor one of San Francisco’s most well-known drag queens. I know most people under the age of 40 might not know who Heklina is, but thanks to this roast we get to hear all the shade and dirt from her friends and colleagues first hand.
For anyone who has been living under an LGBT rock, Heklina has been doing drag for over 20 years and is well known for her influence in San Francisco’s LGBTQ community, whether it be through “Mother,” her parody shows, or her landmark venue The Oasis. In order to provide her with the (dis)honor she so deserved, Zampella and Burt thought “why not roast the bitch alive?”

This roast had me laughing and crying so hard I was in stiches. You will love it, but this is not for the faint of heart because these queens are nasty, filthy and #ShadyAF.
