Hamburger Mary’s at 330 Pine Ave. in Long Beach will be the setting for a drag brunch fundraiser from 3 to 6 p.m. for State Sen. Ricardo Lara’s campaign for state Insurance Commissioner. If elected Lara will become the state’s first openly gay statewide elected official.
Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online.
