Jackie LaBerge, the former membership sales manager of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, has joined the WHMC team.
LaBerge has a lengthy and varied experience in advertising, which will be her role for WEHOville.com and West Hollywood Magazine, both publications of WHMC. In that role she will work with Doug Stichler, who is WHMC’s sales director.
Among other positions, LaBerge has served as co-executive producer for Fourpoints Television Productions, a role in which she worked with advertisers to integrate their brands into the content of television programs. LaBerge also was a broadcast account manager for Corus Entertainment, one of Canada’s leading niche-focused television brands and for Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting. She was outdoor account manager form Mediacom Outdoor Advertising in her native Canada.
LaBerge also has been an entrepreneur. In 2010 she launched Loot Bags for Life, a website that allowed people to support animal charities by purchasing bags and t-shirts.
“I’m delighted to have Jackie as part of our team,” said Henry (Hank) Scott, publisher of WEHOville and West Hollywood Magazine. Her experience is incredible. Within minutes of our very first meeting I was convinced that she knew how to help local businesses and organizations get in front of the audiences that mattered to them. That is the essence of advertising and marketing.”
