The Alvin Ailey dance group returns to Los Angeles for a limited number of shows at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at 135 N. Grand Ave. at 1st Street in Downtown LA. Alvin Ailey was a black choreographer and activist who popularized modern dance and revolutionized black participation in 20th century concert dance. Tickets are $28-$110 and are available here.
