“Hold Up/Sorry/All Night” | Titus Andromedon

I almost died when I saw this episode of the “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.” This is one of the most amazing television performances of a music video(s) that I have ever seen. I think that after seeing this many more gay men will #Lemonade if they catch their man cheating. Titus has such an amazing voice, and I love that in this season he had more opportunities to showcase it. The clip has all three songs he covers from the Lemonade album, and they do not disappoint. You will gag for this Beyoncé realness and be thirsty for more! Watch[/half_last]

“Sia Chandelier” Violin Cover | Shirtless Violinist

I was excited the other week to get another email from the amazingly talented Matthew Olson, aka “the Shirtless Violinist.” This latest video is of him doing a cover of Sia’s “Chandelier” while playing the violin aaaannnddd doing some crazy aerial moves. I can’t imagine how challenging it must have been to play the violin and hang upside down. But he makes it work. I love his description under the video about how he expected there to be some physical pain from the aerial action, but what he didn’t expect was the motion sickness. Boy can I get that. I am so glad he fought through and gave us another stunning and beautiful cover for “Chandelier.” If you want to find a video with great violin music, some sick aerial moves and a guy with abs for days, then look no further than the Shirtless Violinist and his cover of “Chandelier.” Watch [/half_last]

“Mama Don’t Make Me Put On The Dress Again” | Trixie Mattel

In “Two Birds,” the latest album by Trixie Mattel, there is this funny and quirky song called “Mama Don’t Make Me Put on the Dress Again” sung by Brian Firkus, with a video guest-starring Leslie Jordan. I love this video and how it shows Brian singing while Trixie, his drag persona, just makes a guest appearance. Most of the time when you see drag queens perform it is in their drag persona, but I applaud Brian’s decision to perform as Brian. The song is catchy and cute and adds to the “Age of Joanne” that was started by Gaga. You have to check out the whole album. I never like Country music, but I freaking am living for “Two Birds” and Trixie Mattel. Freaking Yee Haw Y’all. Watch[/half_last]

Kristine W

This weekend I had the honor of interviewing the amazing Kristine W at DragCon 2017. We discussed all things about her career and her upcoming show at Glitterama (June 8 at the Avalon Hollywood), where she will be preforming alongside Martha Wash, Jackie Beat and the Perry Twins. (Click here to view the full interview) We also got a chance to talk about her single from her 8th album, “Out There”. She has had 16 No. 1 dance hits, 22 Top 5 Billboard dance hits and has been named the third greatest dance artist of the decade and eighth greatest dance artist of all time by Billboard magazine. This lady is a dance music icon for dance music. When you watch this video you will want to get up, move and shake that grove thing. “Shadow Kiss” | MeseMoa

This new music video is from a Japanese all male J-pop group that has been getting lots of media attention. The new song “Shadow Kiss,” was just released this last week with all nine members, in one way or another, making out. The kisses range from little pecks to full blown lip locking, and in total the guys exchange 36 smooches and fans are gagging! It is funny that they are finally expressing this side of their sexuality when in 2012 they were so coy. When asked if they were gay or not they replied, “I don’t know”. They have gotten a lot of attention from fujoshi, the Japanese term for girls who are fans of gay boys. So next time you want to create a stir, just grab eight of your best guy friends and create a video of you all making out! Watch [/half_last]

“It Was Love” | Kenyth Mogan

I am a total sap for a beautiful love story and hot boys. This new song “It Was Love” is Kenyth Mogan’s final single from his second EP, “Love,” and it comes after his other release, “Real Me.” I am fortunate to know Josh Orozco, an up and coming model (if you need to do your laundry he has some great washboard abs). He also helped get me a quote from Kenyth: “This is the most intimate I’ve ever been in a music video … because, it’s me, in the flesh, literally…I was very lucky to have Josh,” Mogan says of his co-star, “He made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and we had a lot of fun, which is hopefully something the viewers can take away from the video.” I recommend this video for two reasons: Kenyth has a killer voice and Josh is hot. *mike drop* Watch [/half_last]

PWR BTTM: “Answer My Text”

I am always on the lookout for new music and artists that pique my interest, and the duo PWR BTTM definitely has done that. Liv Bruce and Ben Hopkins are a queer punk duo who totally kick ass with some crazy, fun, unique songs. Their latest one “Answer My Text,” depicts the epic struggle a gay man faces when you finally get up the nerve to ask a guy for his number, and you wait the allowed extent of hours before you text him. But then he takes FOREVER to text you back. It makes me smile when I see guys like these who are clever but also represent our LGBT community. You will gag over this video. Check it out along with many more that they have. Watch [/half_last]

SPECIAL VIEWER SUBMISSION VIDEO

“Beauty and the Gay Beast” by the Shirtless Violinist

This week we have a special video for GTV. Matthew Olson, aka “The Shirtless Violinist,” submitted this video that he and his boyfriend, Paul, did together. Matthew is an amazing violinist and really captures the beauty of this song. He said the video was to show what a real gay scene should look like in the movie. I love the tongue and cheek…or his tongue on his cheek. Either way it was a beautiful video and a wonderful performance. Make sure to check out more of the Shirtless Violinist and his videos, you will not be disappointed. Watch [/half_last]

“Beauty and the Beast “- Sam Tsui and Casey Breves

The new “Beauty and the Beast” movie is out today, and I found this beautiful rendition of the classic “Beauty And The Beast” song. It is a special rendition because Sam Tsui sings with his husband, Casey Breves, along with the amazing Yasmeen Al-Mazeedi (violin) and Niall Ferguson (cello). This love song sung by a sweet LGBT couple is such a classic. These are videos that make me smile and sigh and realize how much of a gay sap I really am. I can’t wait to see the movie, but meanwhile this video reminds me how much I love the classics of Disney. Watch [/half_last]

More Than Temporary – Tom Goss

In this music video by Tom Goss we see a budding couple in morning after a hookup that has that little spark of maybe something more. The one guy leaves and starts to see other LGBT couples around town that start him thinking about there being something more to this initial encounter. He sees the guy again and, even after being hit on by another suitor, realizes that this is “More Than Temporary.” The great thing about this video is that all the couples are real couples who have real relationships and have been together for many years. It always warms my heart to see that LGBT couples are becoming more of a norm in today’s society, and that there are so many beautiful relationships around to inspire potential couples to see that it can be more than something temporary. I’m been in a relationship for 5 and a half years, so just remember that true love is out there and can come in the most unexpected ways. Just be open to it. Watch [/half_last]

Benji & Fede – Adrenalina (Spanish Version)

This week I want to go international with Benji & Fede. I mean, who doesn’t like a couple of sexy foreign boys? These two first met in 2010 and then decided to form this great duo. They started out doing covers on YouTube, building an impressive following, and then launched their first album in 2014. They tried to compete in the newcomer category of the Sanremo Music Festival, but they did not make it through the pre-election.

As a result, they tried to involve their fans more heavily through social networks, which really increased their popularity. They were finally discovered in 2015 and put out their first single called “Tutta d’un fiato.” You will enjoy the Spanish flavor of these amazing artists. The music is great to just jam out to and perfect for any party. Watch more of their music and it gives you an excuse to learn a new language to know what they are saying…or just do what I do and watch their lips move. I’m telling you, entertainment for DDDAAAYYYSSSS.  Watch [/half_last]
