The city allows only two garage or yard sales a year at each residential property. Permits, issued free of charge, require a California drivers license, ID card, or utility bill with your name and West Hollywood address. Permits can be obtained on the second floor of City Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on alternate Fridays. The public counter is closed noon to 1 p.m. daily.
