A man who allegedly was angry because Mondrian hotel staff threw away his marijuana stash reportedly went outside the hotel and fired shots in the air tonight before fleeing in a car.
No one was injured and deputies are investigating, according to the watch commander at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.
The incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. A resident of the French Hill Apartments on Olive Drive behind the Mondrian, which is at 8440 Sunset Blvd. at Olive Drive, told WEHOville that the gunman appeared to have fled south down Olive Drive.

This guy is obviously a moron. I’m all for legalized marijuana but I’m concerned about the issues already starting. It wasn’t too long ago that we got cigarettes banned from most public places…now when I walk down the boulevard I can’t even enjoy a meal outside at one of the local restaurant without having to smell the smoke of marijuana.
