Below is the weekly crime report from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station that calls out incidents in WeHo from Jan. 1 to 7. The list includes each case number. This report lists Part 1 (serious) crimes for the date range shown and is not meant to be a complete list of all serious crime. Jan. 1

Vehicle Burglary. 600 block Doheny Drive between midnight and 12:15 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed three suitcases containing a laptop computer and clothing from the trunk. Loss $4,200. #00002

Vehicle Burglary. 8700 block Dorrington Avenue between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed a jacket from the back seat. Loss $3,500. #00007

Vehicle Burglary. 9000 block Rangely Avenue between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed clothing and sunglasses from the trunk. Loss $1,700. #00009

Vehicle Burglary. 8400 block Sunset Boulevard between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed luggage containing clothing from the back seat. Loss $1,050. #00011

Vehicle Burglary. Larrabee Street/Harratt Street between midnight and 7:15 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and the rear passenger’s side window and removed a laptop computer from a suitcase in the trunk. Loss $1,850. #00015

Vehicle Burglary. 8400 block Sunset Boulevard between 11 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and pushed the back seat down but there was no property in the vehicle. Loss $300 (window). #00016

Vehicle Burglary. 1000 block La Brea Avenue between 9 and 9:30 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a bag containing a camera and two lenses from the trunk area. Loss $3,500. #00018

Vehicle Burglary. Doheny Drive/Nemo Street between 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack from the front seat. Loss $325. #00032

Vehicle Grand Theft. 800 block of Larrabee Street at 5 p.m.

Jan. 2

Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested). 7100 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 11 a.m. A man removed three pieces of clothing and left the store without payment. When confronted by security, the suspect pulled away and began to struggle with the victim in an attempt to escape. The suspect was arrested. Loss $50 (recovered). #00026

Jan. 3

Vehicle Burglary. 1300 block North Sweetzer Avenue between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a 40-inch flat screen television from the back seat. Loss $400. #00074

Non-Aggravated Assault. 1000 block of Sierra Bonita Avenue at 7 p.m.

Jan. 4

Vehicle Burglary. 7700 block Hampton Avenue
between 5:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed a spare tire from the trunk and a fuse box from the dash board. No sign of forced entry. Loss $300. #00099

Theft/Larceny. 9000 block of Beverly Boulevard at 6 p.m.

Grand Theft. 8700 block Sunset Boulevard between 7 and 11 a.m. An unknown suspect removed four pairs of sunglasses from the center console of the unlocked vehicle. Loss $1,085. #00104

Residential Burglary. 8700 block Dorrington Avenue
Between Jan. 5 and Jan. 8. An unknown suspect pried the window open of a garage attached to the residence to gain access and removed a laptop computer from the bedroom. Loss $1,200. #00182

Vehicle Break-In. 8700 block of Sunset Boulevard at 7 a.m.

Petty Theft. 8300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at 2:30 p.m.

Jan. 6

Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon. 7300 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. Two men had an argument inside of a bathroom. The argument escalated and one of the men picked up a wooden stick and chased after the other man. Responding deputies arrested both suspects. #00132

Vehicle Burglary. 1200 block Fuller Avenue between 9 p.m. Jan. 6 and 1:50 p.m. Jan. 7. An unknown suspect cut the convertible top to gain access and removed a wallet containing $400 cash from the front seat. Loss $3500. #00157

Strong-Arm Robbery. 7300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at 12:25 p.m.

Vehicle Burglary. 7500 block of Lexington Avenue at 8:30 p.m.

Domestic Violence Assault. 900 block of North San Vicente Boulevard at 12:25 a.m.

Jan. 7

Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon. 8800 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 1:45 a.m. A man was attempting to throw a broken beer bottle when two men intervened and tried to stop him. A short struggle ensued and one victim was cut on the arm and the other victim was cut on the hand. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #00146

Vehicle Burglary. West Knoll Drive / Santa Monica Boulevard between 12:15 and 2:05 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a bag containing $1,200 cash, two tennis bracelets, two rings and a gold pendant from underneath the front passenger seat. The suspect also removed a messenger bag from the trunk. Loss $9,300. #00147

Between midnight and 4:15 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a cell phone battery and credit cards from the rear floorboard area. Loss $660. #00150

between 2:15 and 2:30 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a leather bag containing a tablet computer and $250 cash from the front seat. Loss $1,350. #00158

between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. An unknown suspect removed $20 in change from the center console area. No sign of forced entry. Loss $20. #00175
