Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested. Santa Monica Boulevard at Alfred Street at 9:50 p.m. A man was walking on the sidewalk when a homeless man approached him from behind and punched him in the head. The victim fell to the ground, and the suspect used a box cutter to slash the victim twice on the face before fleeing the area on foot. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #07175

at 8 a.m. A man pulled his girlfriend’s cell phone from her jacket pocket during an argument and fled the area on his skateboard. Loss $600. #07154

at 10:45 p.m. A man was walking on Lexington Avenue when another man approached him from behind and pressed a sharp object into his back. The suspect demanded the victim’s property and he complied. Loss $27,000 (watch, ring, bracelet). #07176

Strong Arm Robbery. 8900 block Santa Monica Boulevard at 2 a.m. A man was standing in the rear alley of the business when a group of men surrounded him. One of the suspects pulled the victim’s wallet from his pocket and walked away. Loss $300. #07179
Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested). 600 block N La Cienega Boulevard at 10:25 a.m. A man attempted to take a laundry cart but was stopped by the victim. A short struggle ensued, and the suspect was able to break free and flee the area on his bicycle. Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #07180

between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. An unknown suspect cut the convertible top to gain entry and removed a make-up kit and clothing from the back seat. Loss $2,000. #07201
