A motorcycle was rear-ended by a car at about 8:45 a.m. today on Santa Monica Boulevard near Flores.
The accident, which happened in front of Basix restaurant, resulted in the motorcycle driver being taken to the hospital. Sgt. Nelson Rios of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station said there were no apparent life-threatening injuries.
Rios said the motorcycle was rear-ended by a Prius. But he said it’s unclear at this point whether the accident was the fault of the Prius driver or the motorcyclist. An investigation is underway.
