It never ceases to amaze me how many people set themselves up for thieves by leaving tempting items in their vehicle, in the plain sight of passers-by and then, when the predictable happens, they are stunned with surprise. In my mind, it’s THEIR contributory-neglegence that tempted the loss and which then further reduces the safety of all property and potentially, people in the vicinty -since hunters of all species are more likely to return first to areas in which they’ve found success previously!

This report as usual confirms that West Hollywood is a low crime zone. You should be praising the city Nir rather than tearing it down when the evidence here is that officials are doing a good job.

It is not the City Council’s fault and it is not the Public Safety Commission’s fault, Nir. Nor is it the Sheriff’s Department’s fault when people leave things of value in their cars. The City and the Sheriff’s Department has told us over and over not to leave things in our cars. It is time of personal responsibility. PLEASE STOP BLAMING THE CITY FOR EVERYTHING, NIR. There is no such thing as a crimeless society, but we have pretty low crime rates.

Maybe it’s about time, our city council member will take actions and stop talking…this is becoming one more “old story”. and once again do not blame our amazing sheriff department for this, it’s us we need to take a look at, “our” voices who are sitting in our city hall, what are our Public safety commission are doing beside looking who to give the next award to…so sad, WEHO.
