West Hollywood is losing a celebrity. And this time it’s a real one, not one of those reality TV characters who troll our streets with paparazzi in tow.

According to the real estate Multiple Listing Service, a house at 9060 Harland Ave. in the Norma Triangle neighborhood is on the market. The owner is none other than country music queen Dolly Parton.

The 1,091-square-foot house has two bedrooms and two baths. It’s listed at $1.4 million. The Trulia real estate listing site describes it as “a whimsical oasis.”

The house last sold in 2008 for $1.2 million, presumably to Dolly Parton. It’s not clear how often Miss Dolly, as her country fans know her, visits West Hollywood. Given that she has a 23-room mansion in Brentwood (the one outside of Nashville not the one west of Beverly Hills), an apartment on New York City’s Fifth Avenue and assorted other bungalows across the country, we’re guessing not often. But the paparazzi have managed to catch her at least a couple of times in recent years shopping on Melrose Avenue or dining at Taste of India.

The Harland house also is noted for being the former residence of actress Natalie Wood, the cause of whose death off of Santa Catalina Island in 1983 is still listed as “undetermined.”

If you want to put some country in your life, the listing agent is Michael Dillon at Coldwell Banker-BH South.

the city allows them to park where there is enough room, they don’t get in the way of traffic and where the least amount meter business……..personally I never understood why people are so cheap. they will spend $12 on drinks in bars but not spend $10. for 8 hours of parking

Why can’t they park them at the House of Blues instead of taking up needed parking on Santa Monica Bl.

Just for the record. those tours buses parked on Santa Monica Blvd. are not from Dolly but from performers at the House of Blues for which they have permits.

That is one tacky house. Jeff Lewis would have a field day there.

That’s not a bus terminal, it’s a bus division. Go downtown on east Seventh St. There is a Greyhound bus terminal there next to their storage yard.
