A new web series that gets to the heart of how Hollywood (and West Hollywood) gays can be…well, bitchy.
Below is the first installment in the new series, Hollywoodland, by Joseph Baken. You may remember Baken from the media frenzy that was started over a Montana gay bashing 2 years ago–Baken was the alleged victim, who later admitted he had sustained injuries doing a backflip on a sidewalk and not, as first professed, in a homophobic attack. Ah well, at least he’s not lying about how bitchy Hollywood can be!
Hollywoodland takes place at a small dinner party between two gay couples at what looks like a Hollywood Hills home. The group talk about how much they hate certain television shows, music, artists, composers, films–pretty much anything that comes up in conversation. They even rag on the recital of one couple’s daughter. Hilariously accurate.
The first episode stars Willam Belli, Justin Kelly and Michael Airington.

Sounds like the gay version of Real Housewives. Yuck.
