If you’re hoping to spot the Great Pumpkin in West Hollywood, this Halloween could be your last chance.

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch, a celebrated seasonal business that’s been known to attract A-listers and their offspring, is seeking a new location. That’s because property owner Doheny LLC plans to develop the land, located at 702 N. Doheny Drive at Harland, according to Mr. Bones owner Lyra Marble.

Does that mean Mr. Bones — and sister business Mr. Greentrees — will leave WeHo after eight years in the Creative City? It depends on where the business is able to secure a new venue, Marble said.

Prior to coming to WeHo, Mr. Bones was located on Wilshire in Beverly Hills.
“We choose the [West Hollywood] location to be close to our existing customers and because we were welcomed by the property owner, Heidi Cortese, and the City of WeHo, when we first approached both of them about moving to our current location on Doheny. We love WeHo for its openness, diversity and love of the holidays. It’s been the perfect fit for us,” Marble said.

Marble said that it was about a year and a half ago when she found out that Doheny would be developing the property.

“We have moved Mr. Bones and Mr. Greentrees once before. We always knew that it would happen again one day,” she said.

According to the website for Doheny LLC, the company is headed by Heidi Cortese who is the chair and CEO of the construction company behind the Leisure World “active adult communities.”

A representative for Doheny LLC did not immediately return a request for comment.

Correction: A previous version of this story reported that Mr. Bones had been in West Hollywood for 27 years. The first location for the business was in Beverly Hills; it moved to WeHo eight years ago.
